Kissing goodbye to winter with one juicy shade
I’ve really slacked off Lipstick of the Month lately because girl be busy, which is really annoying because it’s winter here in Perth and I adore deep, dark berry shades for this time of year.
Dark lipsticks and knitwear are the only good things about winter, so let’s see winter out with a bang and one of my darkest shades in my collection: Avon’s Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Wild Cherry.
I love Wild Cherry for the same reasons as I love Avon’sPerfectly Matte Lipstick in Adoring Love, but if you missed that post, here’s a quick recap…
Avon Perfectly Matte Lipsticks are:

The shade is pretty dramatic and turns heads, so go easy on the rest of your make-up to tone it down, especially if you’re wearing it in the day.
You need to top it up after a couple of hours (or if you’re a water glugging camel like me, an hour), but it doesn’t dry your lips out. However, as I said in my review of Adoring Love, these lipsticks do crack after a couple of hours, despite Avon’s promise that they ‘never crack or cake’.
