The Spanish fashion giant is finally making its way west, and here’s why Perth girls are in for a treat…
Zara is coming to Perth! Zara! Perth!
ZARA!
Okay, I’m calm.
Today Garden City announced on their Facebook page that they will be the first shopping centre to welcome Zara to WA! There’s more; it could be opening as early as August, beating the Carillon City store set to open at the end of the year, and it’s going to be on two-levels, stocking menswear and childrenswear as well as womenswear. Guys, feel free to jump and squeal too, it’s okay.
Back home the Spanish fashion house is huge, with most women having a least one Zara item in their wardrobes and their pieces featured in various fashion magazines every month. Personally, they are everything I want from a fashion brand: on trend, great quality, minimal pattern, unique cuts and affordable. They’re the go-to for blazers, coats, skirts, shirts and edgy workwear.
Here are a few of my favourite pieces from their AW14 collection, which is online now (prices in GBP, double them for AUD).
Crochet Dress, £49.99
Zipped Blazer, £69,99
Snake Print Sandals, £59.99
Silk Blouse with Layered Front, £59.99
Varnish Effect Trousers, £35.99
Faux Leather Flared Skirt, £39.99
Cut Out Messenger Bag, £29.99
So now we have Topshop and Zara heading our way, what brand would you like to see come to Perth? My next campaign is for Mango. I mean c’mon, Perth, Miranda Kerr was the brand’s face last year, get on it!
