The Swedish fashion house have FINALLY landed in Australia with an exclusive collection to make up for their late arrival
If you’ve never shopped outside Australia, you might not have heard of H&M. They’re a Swedish fashion brand who sell a range of collections that vary in price and quality. You can find basic tube skirts, maxi dresses and essential vests (singlets) for a few bucks, next to woollen coats, leather bags and real suede boots for a few more dollars. It’s no wonder they’re so popular, plus they do awesome sales with most pieces 50% off, and their jeans have a great reputation.
Most importantly, they’re stylish, they follow trends and collaborate with designers regularly to create collections that fly off the rails – well, actually, they’re snatched off in a stampede of girls that spend hours queueing outside the stores before the first sale day – true story.
ANYWAY, for years they have shipped to America, all over Europe, and popped up in Asia, with store locations including Kuwait, Oman and Qatar. But not Australia. Can someone explain this, please?
Never mind, because finally they’ve created www.hm.com/au ahead of their first Aussie store opening in Melbourne on 5th April. But before we all join hands and dance, unfortunately you can’t buy the items online, they’re just there to tease you over to Melbourne for the launch. Fingers crossed they’ll hear our cries for online shopping soon enough, as they have some gorgeous pieces. Just feast your eye on these beauties…

Unfortunately they’re yet to launch in New Zealand, but I reckon once they’ve got Oz covered, that will be their next stop.
