REVIEW: Great Lengths Anti Tap Water

Give your hair the perfect pH balance

When I first met Naomi Panizza and before I picked her brains on how to grow your hair long and strong, she had an absolute song and dance about Great Lengths Anti Tap Water.

She told me it would improve the health of my hair, and by jove she was right…

What is Anti Tap Water?

Great Lengths Anti Tap Water is a leave in treatment that restores your hair’s pH value. Don’t know what I mean by this? Well, your hair is naturally acidic to prevent bacteria growing and to keep the cuticle sealed and healthy. However, we mess this up when we use hair products and colours that are either too acidic or too alkaline, so Anti Tap Water works to restore harmony with the perfect pH balance.

Great Lengths Anit Tap Water Review

How to Use Great Lengths Anti Tap Water

Anti Tap Water is unlike any other hair treatment I’ve used before.

After you’ve washed your hair, squeeze out the excess water and mix up one part of Anti Tap Water with 8 parts of water.

To do this I pour about two teaspoons of the blue liquid into the Great Lengths applicator bottle, then fill it up with water to just under the ‘G’ on the bottle.

Then attached the sprinkler cap, give it quick swirl, pour it all over the hair and massage it in for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Then style your hair as usual.

The Results

After about six weeks of using Anti Tap Water 2-3 times a week, I noticed my hair looked and felt healthier. I’ve now been using it for five months and it has done more than just strengthen my exisiting hairs, it has created new ones!

When I visited my hairdresser a couple of weeks ago for my highlights, she noticed I had loads of new hairs sprouting up. The length of them was about right for when I started using Anti Tap Water, so I put it down to the Biotin. I love you, Biotin.

The only thing I don’t like about using Anti Tap Water is the application bottle; because I think it should be half the size and it can be a bit of a pain tipping water over your head. I used to apply Anti Tap Water at the sink, but I now do it last thing in the shower because I didn’t like flipping my hair over and then having to carefully flip it back without flicking water everywhere.

However, if you buy Anti Tap water you shouldn’t have this problem as Great Lengths now have a spray bottle applicator on their website, which looks far easier.

This products is now part of my hair routine, so watch this space to see if it accelerates my quest to mermaidhood!
